On this episode you will be treated to three movie reviews for price of none! … that means free ….
That Guy Named John is joined by returning favorite guest, the one and only Tim Hall, AKA: The Peoples Critic. They discuss three new movies: “Silence”, “Live By Night”, and “Patriot’s Day”. Enjoy!
The 3 movies reviewed in this episode are: The spiritual drama “Silence” by Martin Scorsese, which centers on a jesuit priest’s struggle with faith in historical Japan. This is followed by Ben Afleck’s bootlegger action movie “Live by Night”, and finally “Patriot’s Day”, which is a melodramatic biopic about the events surrounding the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing.
