In this first episode of 2017, That Guy Named John and Dr. Andy take a look back at some of the good, bad, and ugly movies of 2016 before diving into 2 new releases; “La La Land” and “Fences”. Both of the new releases are picking up almost every award out there, so tune in and see if they deserve it!

The first section of the episode gives a spotlight to the people who have left reviews on iTunes and Stitcher, and if you want to leave your own that will be read on the air, that would be great! After that, John and Andy break down some 2016 films by using an awesome (and not confusing at all) rating system of “The goodest of the good, the baddest of the bad, and the ugliest of the ugly”. Finally they give a review and rating for “La La Land” and “Fences”. Enjoy!
