ATR #105 – 2018 Vancouver Web Fest!

I was given the opportunity to once again travel to beautiful British Columbia to cover the 2018 Vancouver Web Fest for the second year in a row! I talk about the festival, and break down my favorite shows in 3 categories before awarding my best of the festival!

*Full disclosure* I was sick and losing my voice while recording this episode, so my golden pipes are not quite there as usual *

Make sure to head over to the YouTube page for the next episode of “About To Interview” which will feature interviews with Ben Strang, Brynn Peebles, Brianna Wiens, Suzette Laqua and Paula Hoffman! –> YouTube.com/AboutToReview

The Vancouver Web Fest is one of my favorite festivals, and I look forward to it every year. During the 3 day digital storytelling festival and conference, you get the chance to see an incredibly diverse group of creative projects and from creators all over the world. From gritty crime thrillers like “A Jamais”, to comedies like “Girls vs the City”, and even children’s programming like “Daisy and the Gumboot Kids”, this festival truly has something for everyone.

Suzette and her team do an incredible job programming and staffing this event, and I highly encourage people to check it out if they are given the chance. Make sure to head over to www.vancouverwebfest.com for the most up to date information about all of their programming.

The three categories that I chose to highlight for my favorites were: Drama, Documentary, and Comedy, and from those, I will crown my “Best of” for the 2018 Vancouver Web Fest!
